After studying in the US and France, becoming a translator seemed like a good idea. Accidentally, I soon ended up in sales, reaching top positions and expanding Herbalife to Spain, Italy, Greece and the Arab Emirates. Back to Spain I landed in advertising: from New Business Director at EuroRSCG and Young & Rubicam to Iberia Marketing Director of MEC and other companies belonging to the WPP group. I needed a change.Was offered to make an asset profitable: a palace seized in the bankruptcy proceedings of Afinsa, a pyramid investment scheme in stamps that ruined many people. I succeeded at that and the Palacio de Nuncio was sold to compensate the victims of the fraud.I then decided to concentrate on my volunteering in several NGO's. I created the online translation agency Amikia to pay the bills while I mainly concentrated on my non-profitable work. "Post. Earn. Transform.". An awesome idea. It allowed for solidary projects in Nepal, India, Colombia, Spain and Brazil. Unfortunately, ego is the leader's greatest enemy. The project died.But. We did amazing things, I learnt about Buddhism and had an audience with HH the Dalai Lama. An amazing gift.I am now starting a new project: a YouTube channel called "Animales Con Derechos" (Animals With Rights). A channel focused on animal rights and against animal cruelty. We aim to give a voice, a strong voice, to those who don't have one; to raise awareness, educate, and promote, with the help of experts, scientists, and activists, the rights of animals. Yes, also human rights. Because they are all interconnected.I hope it will lead to increased awareness about the other beings with whom we share the planet and contribute to the creation of a more compassionate society where violence knows no exceptions, regardless of gender, ideology, race, or sentient species.
