Crisis communications manager: I conceived and developed an informational hub with COVID-19/SOA related information for SOA members, candidates and the general public. I managed, wrote, updated, directed and coordinated all the content for that hub, while also performing my traditional work tasks. Writer and creator of content for all the Society of Actuaries' (SOA) communication platforms: soa.org/COVID-19; social media; SOA website, SOA newsletters, SOA Candidate Connect newsletters, The Actuary magazine, external newsletters, press releases, internal communications. Create content and marketing campaigns to promote interest and awareness among the general public for the actuarial profession and the many roles actuaries have in a variety of industries.Write content to keep SOA members informed of updates in education, professional development events, industry news and events, etc. Participate in events with SOA Candidates and curated social media awareness during and after the events. Create content for the SOA website to promote higher volume of traffic and increase SEO. Part of the creative team that worked to launch new initiatives including: new SOA Newsletter, new website, new Candidate Connect landing page.
