Interested in computers and programming from a young age, I attended Prime to jumpstart a new career. The full-time academic schedule allowed me to accelerate my learning. In addition to coding; I enjoyed the improvement upon softskills with weekly speeches and toastmasters.We experienced the fullstack - spending our time learning Javascript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, AngularJS and MongoDB and using GitHub for version control. I really enjoyed working on group projects and assignments, and also following up with individual work to solidify my own personal knowledge of the languages. We were given two weeks to build a full stack solo project which commenced with presentations. I built a parent-athlete-coach communication app to help with communication in the parent-athlete-coach triangle. It provides a layer or protection to the athlete while giving separation to the coach's personal accounts. Some of the technologies I used are PostgreSQL, Express, AngularJS, Node.js, JavaScript, MomentJS, Filestack and Angular Material. In future versions - I plan to integrate a team calendar, meet results and Charts.js. Our final project was a client-driven group project. My team built an on-call calendar staffing application for the Andrew Residence, a nursing facility in downtown Minneapolis. I worked with a group of 4 students where we built the application with the ultimate intent to allow supervisors and staff to spend more time with the residents and less time doing administrative scheduling. One of the exciting challenges we encountered was designing an application for use on internet explorer (IE11). This was a great opportunity to learn how to develop an application to successfully perform across multiple platforms. The technologies we used were PostgreSQL, Express, AngularJS, Node.js, Moment.js, Virtual Box, VMware, NodeMailer and Plivo.

• Reviewed and analyzed medical data to determine Veteran and claimant eligibility and rating percentages according to the Code of Federal Regulations. Promulgated detail oriented Rating Decisions and communicated to the claimant the reasoning of the decision. • Interacted daily with colleagues and supervisors to ensure best possible service was provided to the claimants. Attended weekly Rating Board meetings.• Managed caseload daily to determine priority and meet daily performance goals.• Assisted on special teams to reach station deadlines and meet the mission.• Collaborated and improved upon national training and testing materials with colleagues across the nation.• Worked closely with Authorizers and Veterans Service Representatives to ensure claim readiness, jurisdiction and needed development was completed to provide decisions to claimants as quickly as possible.

• Collaborated with a team of Authorizers to provide support to Veteran Service Representatives (VSR) by handling questions and assisting with troubleshooting. • Reviewed submitted work of VSR’s for accuracy and completeness; including review of written notification letters.

• Provided pension benefits to wartime Veterans and eligible family members through claims processing.• Mentored new employees.• Responded to claimant inquiries, providing accurate and timely information. Advocated for claim expedition when necessary.

• Developed and provided year-round training plan 20 hours/week to competitive gymnasts ages 6-18.• Boosted the team aspect and environment by engaging the athletes through yearly team mottos, goals, travel trips, group assignments and incentives, team outings and reflection.• Developed relationships with parents, athletes, coaches, area gymnastics facilities and thecommunity.• Maintained thorough knowledge of rules, procedures, coaching techniques and current trends in gymnastics.
