My direct efforts resulted in $54 million annually for our agency to fund critical local water supply infrastructure, flood control projects & environmental stewardship projects. * In 2019, established and developed a brand new water ambassador program, Water 101 Leadership Academy, for local community members to learn about water issues, with 20 alumni graduating and additional cohorts in subsequent years. * In 2015, produced and managed a high-scale Community Open House event with more than 900 visitors at the Advanced Water Purification Center, offering public tours in multiple languages and inaugural “taste tests” of recycled purified water. * In 2014, led and developed the "Brown is the New Green" drought media ad campaign and yard sign collateral adopted by other agencies across the state as an effective social marketing campaign. * In 2011-2012, served as Chair of Binational Health Week for Santa Clara County Public Health Dept., building a county-wide coalition to provide over 20 health events, workshops, and clinics for underserved communities.* In 2009, served as PIO / JIC Manager during the 2009 H1N1 influenza (swine flu) epidemic, focusing on underserved communities.
