I moved to Scotland in 2005 in order to finish my BSc in Informatics Management. I had the opportunity to work at the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII), University of Glasgow. During my work at HATII I was involved in different projects, where I accumulated experience as a web developer and digital curator. Throughout this experience, my interest in the principles of accessing, organising and preserving information increased and I decided to take the Information Management and Preservation (Digital) course at University of Glasgow.Whilst working for approximately 18 years as both software engineer and data/record manager, I have developed a range of information management solutions for diverse domains including clinical trials, social policy, financial services, and research data management. This includes analysing complex data requirements, managing multi-media data sets, developing software solutions, and defining data curation processes in line with regulatory and funder policies.Currently I work as a DPMonline Systems Developer – Digital Curation Centre (DCC). DCC provides advice, expertise and services to researchers and institutions across the UK in digital curation, and specifically in the management of research data. My role involves designing new features and developing, maintaining and enhancing the DMPonline (https://dmponline.dcc.ac.uk ), DMPTuuli (https://www.dmptuuli.fi) and DMPMelbourne (https://dmp.research.unimelb.edu.au)
