I developed the Trade Marketing Director role from Sales Department. I launched big marketing campaigns which had worldwide impact in the company, managing budgets by USD100K on average.• One of the main challenges of the film industry is the trailering positioning in cinemas. In 2018 we released two films with the same target audience very close in time. Dealing the exhibition of both trailers with exhibitors was not easy. With different creative and negotiation strategies with clients, I get to show both products in just one trailer, so both of them increased their exhibition. This action was worldwide implemented in the company and public recognized by Home Office.• Via satellite broadcast of the documentary premiere ‘This is it’ about Michael Jackson’s life. This was the first time an event like this took part in a cinema in our country. I coordinate every different tasks of the event such as technological, logistics and marketing. This was very challenging as there was not a role in the company with knowledge in this kind of event.

After 3 years in the company, I was chosen to lead the Trade Marketing area. This was a new position not only in the company, but in the industry and I became a pioneer.• I lead the implementation of permanent in theatre materials. Until then, every marketing in theatre material was graphic and temporary (one sheets, banners or standees). We were the first ones in setting this kind of permanent materials that we could controlled ourselves. We stopped depending on theatres’ staff anymore; we got the total control of them. As we were the first ones, we could take the best locations; the rest of the industry came years later, when we were already totally settled. Also this gave us the opportunity of showing audiovisual content, not just graphic, which is so important in the film industry. This innovative project marked a before and after in the way Trade Marketing was made in the film industry around the world. Years later, the rest of the majors distributors came with the same kind of materials.

I get to move inside the company to the marketing department. Thanks to my learning ability, motivation and curiosity, executives believed in me and gave me the opportunity of facing challenges.

I started my career at Sony with a temporary 3 months contract in accounting area.
