Main products in the portfolio: asset based loans, cash flow loans, structured and trade finance, energy finance and Brazilian crop finance.► Enforced compliance with credit risk policies, procedures and group policies. As a Deputy I cooperated closely with the Chief Risk Officer and contributed to assessment, management and monitoring of risks associated with the finance company’s commercial loan portfolio. In this capacity, I managed the following tasks:► Participated in credit committee meetings as a non-voting member, casting the risk management vote in support of or against proposed transaction as a Deputy when necessary.► Collaborated closely with management board, credit committee, problem loan committee, account managers, credit analysts, collateral officers, compliance department and other staff members on common portfolio and loan strategy.► Mentored the risk management team members.► Closely monitored problem loan portfolio, formulated and implemented individual workout strategies (due to relatively small pool of problem loans at any given time, no separate workout department was established).► Coordinated special projects and directives.

As a Credit Analyst and Underwriter I analyzed risks associated with prospective and existing commercial lending transactions (bilateral and syndicated). Based on the results of my analysis I formulated and recommended strategies for the loans in my portfolio.► Completed limit applications and credit reviews which I verbally presented and defended in credit committee.► Analyzed historical and projected financial performance, collateral performance, market trends and other relevant due diligence factors.► Structured bilateral asset based solutions and negotiated directly with customers.► Collaborated with account managers and counsels on legal documents and therefore developed deep understanding of secured commercial loan documentation requirements.► Negotiated “in court” and “out of court” restructurings.
