I like to define myself as a "communicator", because digital has let me try communication beyond the limits I dreamt to when I was a Journalism student. In my first job as a Radio Information Officer, a friend told me about a company hiring journalist for that "new thing called Internet". I didn't vacillate, I wanted to be there. It was my life choice.That company was LaNetro.com and when I arrived it was an start-up company making its first big expansion. As LaNetro grew and became Zed, an International Entertainment Company, my proffesional skills grew too. Starting from zero, we reached the world, and I feel really lucky of having been part of that. The company expansion was my best "College" on the digital world, but also, due to my different roles within the company, I learned and practiced about advertising copywriting, internal communication and product communication.All this made me want more and I sought formal training in Marketing and Community Management. So I took a sabbatical to increase my training in this field and, at the same time, improve my English skills. Upon my return, I started working as a Community Manager and Social Media Manager being lucky enough to, almost unintentionally, end up communicating about food. And so, from food I have moved on to seafood and from social media to just media. Now I write about aquaculture, mostly, but also fishing, feed,... keep on learning. Next stop: from seafood lover to seafood advocate.
