During my time as a Site Engineer & Laser Scanner specialist at XYZ reality on a hyper-scale project, I have work for the Main contractor BIM manager. I was in charge of the site setting out and construction validation progress and I became the company representative on the BIM coordination meetings. Our goal was to validate construction against design 3Dmodels. Building strong relationships with all the disciplines package leads, attend to coordination, and H&S meetings were key to successfully inform and assist the main contractor with the construction progress. We finished the project implementing AR for the as-built handover to the client. Achievement and Responsibilities:• Understanding the overall development of the BIM protocols and systems and Standards (ISO 19560:2018)• Ensure continual improvement of an integrated management system, looking at new and future technologies.• Deal with sub-contractors, client consultants and GC to ensure correct installation.• Develop new processes and ensure they are followed to ensure quality and consistency.• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, consultants and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and project management• Keeping accurate records, including a diary, of company activities• Coordinate with subcontractors & other teams working on areas of interest.• Planning surveys according to Construction program• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork• Plan the work and efficiently organize site operations in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines- Liaising with QaQc manager & BIM manager on site • Data analysis. I started in 3Sixty as a junior surveyor using traditional survey methods. After a few months, they choose to invest in me and to trained me in Laser scanner techniques.
