I’m Art Historian and Contemporary Art Curator, based in Rome.I graduated in Art History (University “Sapienza”, Rome) in 2007 and I completed my PhD in Visual Arts and Cinema (University of Pisa) in 2012. I have done research in Contemporary Art and Moving Images and contributed articles through several national and international publications.I am currently a free-lance curator and regular contributor for Artforum Critics’ Picks and Flash Art Italia. I have been Adjunct Professor of “Great Events Organization” in the Fine Art Academy, Rome. In 2017 I have been Artistic co-Director of Dancity Art Session (a prestigious electronic music festival) in Foligno, Centre Italy, inviting ClaireFontaine for a special project and curating also the open call for artists, shows, talks and performances. In 2016 I curated the following shows: Antonio Rovaldi “Morning” in the Cultural Italian Institute in Lisbon, Portugal; “The Monuments’ Solitude” in Palazzo Candiotti, Foligno; Nicola Samorì in CIAC Museum, Foligno.Between 2014 and 2015 I was the Artistic Director of the Contemporary Art Festival “Attack”, in Foligno, including the exhibition “On The Tip of My Tongue” in Palazzo Trinci Museum with a special project by Ruth Proctor and Nico Vascellari.Between 2008 and 2012 I have been working as Co-director in Monitor, Rome, one of the most renowned contemporary art gallery in Italy.I was Assistant Curator for several exhibitions in Italy and abroad: “Artists Film and Video from Europe”, Tel Aviv Art Museum 2009, “Arcipelago Olanda”, Miart Fair, 2007.I worked with two Publishing Houses taking care of publications (catalogues and books) on Contemporary Art, on Video and Artists’ Film; I have been working as Contributor since 2005 for different art magazines (Exibart, Drome Magazine, Arte e Critica, Predella, Artribune, Look Lateral, Cura Magazine, Artforum) publishing articles, essays, reviews and texts in Italian, as well as in English and French.
