As a teamleader production I was responsible for one of the five production teams at the Noordwijk butter production site. My focus was on the production progress of the 6 production lines and the processing departement while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Furthermore I had several HR related responsibilities like coaching, checking the workhours, education and health. I worked in a 5-shift system and was therefore fully responsible for the site during evening/night shifts and weekend hours. During office hours a lot of time is spend on working together with planning, quality and technical departements to improve the factory, do root-cause analysis and respond to customer demand.

At the FrieslandCampina factory in Noordwijk I was a member of the WCOM reloaded program (world class operating management). The program involves many different initiatives to improve the factory's production rate and the working methods. My main focus was on performance management; several daily meetings are being redesigned and new methods to facilitate these meetings are introduced. Also, several departments will be introduced to rootcause analysis to improve the factory even more.

Together with the faculty of Economics and Business (University of Groningen) one of the large military departments (43ste Gemechaniseerde Brigade) of the Netherlands has organized the Military Business Challenge. Within this project me and my three teammates investigated the organization and flexibility of the department. This lead to an advise which was aimed on improving the switch between times of peace and times of operations. The role of IT applications within such a switch also played an important role in the investigation.

For my master thesis Change Management, I conducted a research at the iLentis department of mental healtch care organization Lentis. The research was mainly focused on the acceptance of new IT applications among health-care practitioners. During my research I have learned a lot about mental health care organizations and managing change in such a setting. Also, I was able to learn new interview and communication skills and work on my research skills in general.

Assisting the employees of the Intelligence Unit of EDI with different projects like updating the online publication database and selecting new publications. Moreover, I have worked on creating online 'Country gas profiles' for EDI's website.

I worked as a student-manager at one of the large International student houses that the Housing Office manages. My job entailed the daily management (coordination of cleaning, maintenance and contact with the office) of the house and being a hostess for the 150 students. I signed the rental-agreements with the students and help them out with any problems related to their well-being.
