The Tech Network for Women (TENK) is a network aiming to inspire more women to seek education and work in technology.An increasing number of non-technologists need to relate more and more to technology in their workplace. Others are curious and want to learn more. We missed a place where you can meet to exchange experiences, contacts and get new role models. A place where you see how fun technology is and where the focus is not solely on whether you are a programmer. In the long run, we also hope that TENK will inspire a larger proportion of women to fight leadership roles in technology companies that today are highly male-dominated.

Marte works as a frontend developer. Besides working as a developer she also has the responsibility for recruiting students for summer internships and graduate positions in the technology department.

This course is a continuation of TDT4136 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. The focus in the class are the three main ways of reasoning rule-based, model–based, and case-based. Martes' job was to assist students during the semester with homework and questions related to the course.

FRIKT is a project for "Future ICT studies"​ at NTNU which aims to develop a portfolio of courses at the master level that helps to meet society's need for ICT skills in a good and forward-looking manner. In this project, Marte was a member of the committee focusing on education and quality.

Ada helps to recruit, motivate and graduates girls to the ICT sector. The Girl Project Ada works to create a sense of well-being and strengthen motivation throughout the program of study. Ada offers a career network that provides exciting opportunities when students graduate.To increase the recruitment of female students, Ada works actively to provide information about our programs of study and to market them to girls in upper secondary schools. The Technology Camp and Girls' Day are two of Ada’s most important recruitment initiatives. Girls from upper secondary schools all over Norway are invited to Trondheim to get information about the programs of study and Trondheim as a student city as well as to get to know NTNU. Marte was one of the organizers of the technology camp in 2011
