ACC New Zealand has a very active and innovative Agile practice with over 20 full time Scrum masters working across multiple SAFe ART’s. The first of my roles as a pure Scrum Master I am working closely with teams and the practice to help maximise the flow and productivity of the teams, ensure high levels of trust within the teams and to provide opportunities for us all to grow and learn. In my short time with the organisation I have already completed my SAFe 6.0 certification, run team workshops and growth events, assisted in PI planning and continuing to learn about ACC, my team and the great people I work with.

As an Interactive Producer at Beyond, I successfully managed a range of projects, applying agile methodologies to ensure their smooth execution. With expertise in product ownership, I guided the development process from scoping and specification to quality assurance and release of Mobile, PC, and VR games. At Capital E, I led a small team in delivering creative educational programs, making a positive impact on thousands of New Zealand students. By inspiring innovation in technology, I contributed to the development of new educational programming that positively impacted the lives of thousands of New Zealand students annually. I coached the team through conflicts and provided mentoring based on organizational values. One notable achievement was the creation of a program empowering rangitahi in state care through to experience creativity using a variety of digital and practical mediums. Additionally, I collaborated with educators from Te Papa and Wellington Museum to provide professional development to teachers, helping them to integrate digital curriculum effectively.

This was a fundamental change project for the company that allowed for better analysis of potential job viability and led directly into the resourcing and forecasting strategies for the company. The baseline bids also help to hone in on areas of high resource requirement and will lead to better efficiency across the studio.I have also successfully delivered three films, Krampus for Legendary, Pete’s Dragon for Disney and associate produced War for the Planet of the Apes for Fox.Also during my time at Weta I completed the bidding for many high-profile feature films covering a wide range of VFX heavy scenarios.

VFX Producer/Creative Supervisor/Project ManagerDuring the eight years I was at Sauce I project managed many international jobs working closely with clients from India, China, Japan, Australia and the US. Acting as a producer, project manager, writer and art director at various times. I was a key contact on major jobs across all the post arms of the business. Internal communications tasks were part of my work including the writing of web articles, briefs and client pitches. I have also directed animated commercials one being Moserbaer LCD commercial (India) where this won a bronze at the Abby awards (Indian version of the Axis awards) for craft. While working with Sauce Post I worked on a number high profile international and national projects across the film, television series and commercial area. As Creative Supervisor I worked closely with the creative teams having managed such projects as local feature film “Predicament”, National Geographic’s “Known Universe” (three seasons), Zealandia and the History Channel’s Emmy Nominated “Ultimate Guide to the Presidents“.• Project Management• VFX Producing• Creative Supervision• Art direction• Animation direction

During my time with Watermark I worked creating illustrations for books, advertising and for design projects including product visualisation and conceptualising. I completed storyboards for many commercials for several large advertising agencies in Auckland for television commercials for Sony, Rabo bank, Bandaid and many others.

Oktobor was working with Geoff Murphy (Goodbye Pork Pie, Young Guns II) on his latest movie "Spooked". We worked on a unique process utilising a cathode tube Millennium telecine to scan film reels without a neg cut at 2K. The talented technical team created a calibrated log scanning system to allow us to scan all of the reels in a single pass and without the damage to the film that was inherent in pin registered CCD scanners of the time. As the DI producer it was my job to work closely with the scanning team and the grading team (using Baselight) to finish the film.I also worked as the VFX Coordinator on the TV series P.E.T. Detectives.

As the director of ArtMachine I worked across a number of disciplines including animation, illustration and storyboarding for TV and advertising. I worked regularly with a number of agencies and publishers within Auckland occasionally hiring freelancers to assist on larger jobs.
