About Marten Struijk
Computers and software have always fascinated me. From a young age, I used to play with the computer, develop software and take part in communities. During my study, I developed my teaching skills in a minor (Educational Minor Computer Science), experienced what it takes to run a company with a multi-disciplinary team (Minor entrepreneurs) and took an active part in various committees of the rowing club.During my Master, I learned more about software engineering and distributed systems while also gaining critical insights into the cyber security of the maritime sector during my master's thesis 'Identifying Vulnerabilities in Exposed NMEA Gateways by using Honeypots and Shodan'.I am a team player with an interest in teaching and transferring knowledge in the right way. As a professional, I prefer to be the (technological) lead in projects. My ambition is to develop myself in the various fields of software development. In my free time, I enjoy the social aspects of rowing and the beauty of kite sport.
