With a combined 27 years in Construction Safety and Residential/Commercial Construction Industries, I bring an array of skills to the project! Ranging from three years of safety at DOW Plaquemine while Poly D was being built, 5 years of warehousing and logistics safety, DOT compliance fleet of trucks and drivers, to keeping workers safe on residential and commercial projects. I have gained valuable knowledge, experience and skills that allow me to be an asset to any company I work for. I've worked in many petrochemical plants, some one at a time and other times I've had multiple sites to attend to. I've won safety awards at Shell and was elected to sit on the board of the Contractor's Safety Alliance at DOW St. Charles. I love a challenge! I'm proficient in MS Office Word/Excel/Powerpoint, and document retention.As a business owner for 19 years I acquired great management skills for supervising people, creating budgets, and keeping up with schedules. I am a self motivated problem solver, a mentor, trainer and coach, and I believe that the best safety culture is the one that begins with relationships that are built on mutual trust and respect that is unified through engineering, education and accountability to properly identify, control and abate hazards toward an incident and injury free culture!
