As a Participant Engagement Specialist, I will:** assist Participants to understand Self-Determination.** to assist with and lead focus groups throughout southeast Wisconsin around Self-Determination.** to be a Participant Liaison during targeted outreach projects, resource development, focus groups and pilot programs to ensure there is a Participant ** to be a mentor for others. Because I am paralyzed from my neck down from a horseback riding accident, I would hope to share my experiences with others including information and where to obtain resources for anyone whether or not they may have a disability..** to continue to participate as an Advisor of People First Milwaukee, the Chair of the Transit Plus Advisory Council (TPAC) and a board member of the WI IRIS Advisory Committee.

I assist individuals, parents, caregivers anyone with or without a disability to obtain resources he/she may need to remain independent and happy in his/her living situation. These services could include: funding for equipment, therapy options, doctor and/or dentist referral, where to get a wheel chair, vacation options, advocacy, food and clothing pantries, benefit questions and ANYTHING else he/she may think need.

Supervised seven before & after school programs. Created the Summer Recreation Enrichment Camps (SREC) for over 20 schools.
