As the inaugural Chief Equity Officer for the Town of Lexington, I am responsible for working with town leadership, staff and the Lexington community to increase diversity within our town offices, ensure equitable treatment for residents and create an inclusive environment for Lexington employees and members of the community. • Create DEI Road Map and present quarterly updates to the town’s executive leadership: - Update Talent Acquisition strategies to expand applicant pool and reduce individual and systemic bias resulting in a 7% increase in BIPOC employees over the last 11 months - Measure and track demographic hiring and employment departures from 2012 - 2021 to identify trends drive department accountability - Develop and facilitated leadership training to build shared language and understanding of concepts• Build trusting relationships with the senior leadership team (HR, Purchasing, Police, etc.) to provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise on DEI initiatives• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and provides guidance and feedback for town staff, residents and community groups specifically including: the Human Rights Committee, Commission on Disability and Strategic Equity Advisory Team • Publish monthly communication to inform the public on National Heritage Months, DEI events around town, and specific department DEI efforts

• Created Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Accessibility action plan and contribute in the Town of Danvers IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Accessibility) team• Reorganized the site plan review process to provide clear guidelines for all parties involved and set expectations for engineering response• Manage construction projects ranging up tp $100,000 from inception through design, bidding, and construction oversight which includes inspections, pay applications and project close out on time and budget• Participate in the New England Water Environment Association DEI Committee• Update and enforce of the storm water bylaw and regulations to maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies
