• Responsible for the creation, implementation and teaching of syllabi for two VCUarts courses.• Course 1: Time Studio (ARTF-134-013) is a 3-credit, Arts Foundation (AFO), semester-long immersion course into the possibilities of time-based art work. (film, video, animation, sound, performance).• Course 2: Object Anima (GDES-491-904) is a Studio Topics course in the Graphic Design department. A 4-credit, semester-long studio course that sexamines, questions, and broadens the ways we “bring things to life”. Through the study of traditional/ancient/concrete animation, narrative strategy, and non-human life, this class seeks to encourage students to step outside conventional systems of illustrating the passage of time. *self-conceived class

• Founding director of a contemporary art gallery exhibiting international and emerging artists. • Charged with directing, curating and installing on-site exhibitions as well as conceptual design of the gallery’s identity. • Major tasks included authoring press releases and outreach, artist liaison and sales representative.

• Co-taught 2 undergraduate courses at VCUarts. Main resposnsibilities included assigning and presenting readings, critiquing student projects, and leading class.• Course 1: Virtual Interactive Worlds (KINE-458) A transdisciplinary course exploring critical game concepts, virtual environment aesthetics, interactivity and extended reality in a team project setting.• Course 2: Topics in Animation–Documentary Animation (KINE-445) An advanced course in animation that varies in topic and approach from semester to semester. With an emphasis on animation as an expanded, research-based practice, students will be introduced to animation as fine art, animation on and off the screen, and in an installation and performance context.

• Founder of artist-run space in a private, historical garden.• Responsibilities included directing, curating, hosting and installing a total of 4 on-site exhibitions, as well as maintaining social media outreach and exhibition documentation.

• Assistant position working directly with Tanya Leighton (founder) and the gallery directors. • Main responsiblities included liaising directly with artists, maintaining gallery’s archive, curating and editing digital content.• Organized on- and off-site exhibitions, oversaw their installation, documentation, de-installation, and press outreach. • Special projects included Art Basel, Miami 2017 with Sanya Kantarovsky, the design of Marianne Wex’s editions for her project ‘Let’s Take Back Our Space: Female and Male Body Language’, and the launch of the gallery’s new website.
