In 2018 processed 9585 bills with varying number of parts. ◦ Inventory Control-assigned the correct inventory to the appropriate county’s bill. ◦ The last line of defense before invoices were mailed to the corporate office. ◦ Filed and organized bills and invoices.

I was a driver manager in training dispatching 34 assigned drivers using the McLeod software. Tracking drivers on their routes and recognizing and updating movements in the system to correctly reflect their location. I documented reported overages, shortages and damaged product saving Dick Lavy Trucking and their customer money. I also managed and communicated to planners the drivers vacations and scheduled days off. Although I learned a lot more about logistics, this position was not a good match for both Dick Lavy Trucking and me.

I was an auditor of incoming trailers of general merchandise. Verified accuracy of shipments saving Meijer thousands of dollars in reconciling legally documented manifests and also making sure customer is paid correctly. Closed out trailers for shipment to Meijer stores. Office management: I was the first person contact on second shift in the office of 802 general merchandise building. I was constantly multitasking which I enjoy. I answered the phones, assigned trucks for docking in for next business day. I was responsible for the paperwork, docking in correct trailers and communicating what was on the consolidation loads to our sister warehouse in Michigan. I then communicated to several layers on management what was on these loads. I recognized and documented errors of shipments which saved each warehouse monies. Many times, due to my experience, I found myself in an advisory role to my supervisors on receiving policies.I have been in charge of customer service at every level and I love solving problems and fulfilling customer’s needs. I am not afraid of responsibility and accountability and I have the unique experience of being both an employer and employee and always a customer!
