Before obtaining my MLIS through Kent State, I briefly pursued an M.A. in English at The Ohio State University. While enrolled, I taught two quarters of Freshman Composition, instructing students in descriptive, narrative, and expository writing. I also instructed students on basic research (including citing sources) and constructing an argument.
