As a Technician established myself as liaison between the State of Michigan and its contractual tax processing vendor, as well as within the Department of Treasury and with other state agencies.As an analyst created and implemented a training manual for the State of Michigan’s FileNet system used to view images of individual and business tax returns, correspondence and state warrants and also produced the security checklist to be utilized when attending announced and unannounced visits and annual site inspection with the state’s contracted tax processing vendor.Developed and implemented the Request For Purchase and the corresponding Statement of Work for the processing of Michigan’s Income Tax and Business Tax returns. Responsible for the creation of the procedure bulletins and business rules documents for the aforementioned contract, updated annually or as needed, along with any and all applicable appendices according to strict timelines. These documents resulted in the successful processing of the state’s 4 million plus tax returns. Participated on the forms review teams for the state’s Income Tax, Michigan Business Tax and Sales, Use and Withholding tax returns and instructions, meeting weekly review deadlines.Specialties: Proof reading and creating documents and procedures
