Wore many hats while in this position, I’ve had many opportunities to help the community! I was part of the transitional teams helping to train and convert Rite Aid locations to Walgreens. I was a team leader on the long-term care facility COVID vaccination efforts - physically in the facilities working in a team effort to get all the residents and staff protected.

Transferred to the Northeast Tennessee district when I was accepted into pharmacy school. Worked all around the district where I hold responsibilities such as counseling, health and wellness screenings, immunizations, movement of prescriptions (intake, processing and transfers), day to day organization, and interactions with other medical professionals and patients.

Being a student at the Bill Gatton School of Pharmacy has opened me up to many opportunities through their innovative curriculum that promotes the best learning situations. They mentally stretch and cause students to analytically think on their feet in real life situations and clinical experiences. We go through laboratory exercises and year round rotational experiences to stay fresh and gives us the ability to apply currently learnings immediately in practice settings.
