- Researched clean energy financing options and developed a memo regarding strategy to advance green banking and incentives for energy efficiency improvements and installation of onsite renewable energy (Mid-Atlantic region)- Conducted outreach convenings/workshops and individual interviews with partners in Virginia and Pennsylvania to build relationships and advance climate change policy solutions. Types of partners included but were not limited to community benefit organizations, state agencies, local governments, workforce development organizations, and community development finance institutions.- Provided support for federal/state-funded climate mitigation planning and implementation- Led development of and served as project manager for the Priority Climate Action Plan for Hampton Roads MSA for submission to EPA- Served as deputy project manager for the Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan including presentations to the Climate Change Advisory Committee- Supported Prince George’s County, MD in developing its Energy Efficiency Conservation Strategy- Worked with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to draft materials for program proposals related to funding needs for New Energy: New York- Conducted research, prepared reports, and developed presentations on various aspects of low-carbon hydrogen technology and its implementation, i.e., international and federal policy, regulations, and incentives for lower-carbon hydrogen production, trade, and use; feasibility for clean transportation in the US, etc.- Managed projects including tracking budgets, monitoring schedules, delegating tasks, and coordinating with project teams- Prepared an organizational analysis and identified next steps to support transitioning the Pennsylvania Climate Network to an alternate membership and governance structure

Participated in a paid internship with the EPA affiliate for Gwinnett County, Georgia that involved the following:• Researching how communities develop and track progress on metrics for sustainability, including STARS • Conducting water quality monitoring activities and assisting in volunteer water quality monitoring training• Developing a pamphlet on proper household hazardous waste disposal

Recipient of the Grand Challenge Scholars Program Research stipend of $1500 to support student research under the guidance of Dr. T Ganesh. Efforts included: • Researching on biosand filter technology and other sustainable water filtration systems for rural and low-income areas• Presentation of research findings at a university poster session
