• Provide one-on-one Counseling to Homeowners experiencing mortgage default.• Responsible for preparing statistical department report and data analysis providing a narrative to supervisor/director when requested.• Provide comprehensive one-on-one counseling sessions with interested first time homebuyers.• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies.• Utilize Home Counseling on line to maintain records of participation and client data.• Collaborate with local government, non for profits and other area agencies.• Develop educational material and curriculum to conduct group counseling and educational classes for first time homebuyers or homeowners at risk of Foreclosure.• Ongoing support of management of clients, (i.e. including ongoing follow up between both client and lenders until an agreement is reached.• Evaluate participant’s support systems, determine their interests, job marketability and identify possible obstacles. Determine services needed by participants through completion of the initial intake and develop a plan of action for the participants-individual training and services plan.• Develop the necessary literature (English/Spanish) and or marketing techniques to promote Family Self Sufficiency, announce programs, trainings and workshops.• Responsible for assisting Public Housing and Section 8 families in obtaining services needed to succeed in their individual task towards becoming self-sufficient. • Monitor family compliance and progress with the Family Self-Sufficiency contract of participation-individual training and service plan.• Provide or coordinate for the following pre-employment services: resume writing, interview skills, work ethics, transportation choices, and plans, business attire, scheduling and attending job interviews.

• Provided in-person or telephone counseling on Landlord Tenant matter• Provided information and referral on Community Human Service as appropriate• Documentation and follow up on calls as well as proper escalation to any other departments.• Prepared and/ or disseminate brochures, press release and informational material on agency services• Attended community meetings and/represent the agency at community functions as assigned• Conducted seminars or workshops on tenancy issues, Fair housing for special group, Tenant’s Associations and the general public• Obtained detailed account of client’s experience in attempting to secure housing• Assisted clients to file a complaint with US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or with The New Jersey Division of Civil Rights (NJDCR)
