This enables vendor and retailer collaboration, allowing users to list all of their product data (community, private and proprietary) and process it in a single, workflow-based solution. Through Item Centre, trading partners realize immediate, measurable benefits - a single source of truth of complete product information, enhancing supply chain efficiency and product safety.The Canadian foodservice community has also committed to exclusive use of GS1 Canada’s ECCnet Registry for the electronic exchange of standardized, validated product information, such as core product data, images, marketing and nutritional information, with its trading partners.I am currently providing food regulatory subject matter expertise to GS1’s Item Certification (brand-validated, perpetually-cleansed item level nutrition information) Work Group.
