My professional goal is achieving a tangible social impact, by leveraging a mix of technical expertise with strong communication and innovation skills. I have a passion for STEM and education, and I find myself more and more involved in projects combining the two, often in relation to sustainability issues.After a degree in physics, a Master in Science communication at Sissa, Trieste, gave me a valuable imprinting and made me a part of the national community of science communication professionals, which is perhaps my most peculiar and resourceful asset. Later on, attending an Executive MBA at MIP, Milan, helped me give a formal framing to my strongest skills – namely strategic marketing, product development, business development and innovation.As a manager I keep looking for challenges: I thrive where there is need of innovation and change. I believe they both take collaboration, the will to bring worlds and points of view together, and a firm strategic vision. This is how I leave my mark. With a twist, after the first part of my career in scientific publishing, the latest challenge I have taken is at Altroconsumo, the main Italian consumer organization. As a part of Euroconsumers, the world’s leading consumer cluster gathering five national consumer organizations and giving voice to more than 1,5 million people, we are engaged in independent information, defense of consumer’s rights, B2B and B2C services. Here I have the chance to take part in reinventing the relation with members and followers, and in the shift to digital in media enterprises, while providing tools and contents for continuous learning and self empowerment.
