The New Home Company provided the opportunity to build a relationship with buyers over several meetings and consultations. I guided them through the many decisions and choices that New Home offered. Beginning at structural options and finishing with the interior choices - it was a great way to give new home buyers the information they needed to make their new home perfect.

As a Design Consultant, I met with new home buyers and guided them through the many decisions to be made for their new homes.

Opened an upscale home décor consignment store with business partner, Shannon McKenzie. The store features quality home décor along with collectibles and furniture and has become a peaceful oasis for shoppers looking for unique and interesting items.- Manage large inventory of consignment items and consignors- Teach classes on painting, accessorising and interior design - Operate @folsomconsignstudio Instagram blog with 10K+ followers

Began an interior design business with design partner, Shannon McKenzie. - Through internet and social media built a base of interior design customers- Specialize in redesign to complete remodels- Work closely with the customer to achieve the best design to fit specific budgets

- Met with homebuyers at the D. R. Horton Design Center- Guided homebuyers through the many choices for the interior of their new homes - Provided information and knowledge about products and materials offered

- Built relationships with new home builders. Met with their buyers and worked closely with the builders- Worked with the model home designers and builder managers to make sure their buyers were given the best choices- Helped build a window cover program to offer to home buyers- Scheduled delivery and installation of products offered- Instrumental in the design layout and design choices for the showroom for Dave’s Design Center complete remodel in 2001. Designed stations for designers to meet with buyers

Sacramento Interiors was the design center for Winncrest Homes. (Sacramento Interiors was bought by Dave’s Design Center)- Helped home buyers with interior choices such as flooring, counters and window covers

- At on-site design centers, I helped home buyers make choices for the interiors of their new homes

- Provided “in home” shopping for window covers and custom drapery- Shared custom fabric samples and designs for their drapery treatments- Carried samples of all Hunter Douglas window cover products- Gave estimates for all products and managed the delivery and install of all treatments

- While a stay at home mom, designed, built and marketed country themed décor accessories through art and wine fairs and local boutiques- Produced two large art & craft shows per year - Managed many artists and craftspeople. Helped them with displays and sales
