With over 25 years of experience in the library profession, I am the Director and CEO of QualityMetrics LLC, a consulting firm that helps libraries improve their strategy, outcomes, and success metrics. I hold a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and master's degrees in Education (Evaluation and Measurement) and in Library Science from Kent State University.My core competencies include library assessment and management, research and development, leadership and training, and evidence-based decision making. I work with academic, research, school and public libraries to enhance their services, facilities, budget, and accreditation. I am passionate about creating a better informed and action-oriented world through the power of libraries. I also engage in sponsored research projects and collaborative activities with community leaders, universities and other organizations, and occasionally teach part-time as an instructor and adjunct lecturer.
