I am a naturopathic doctor and 2022 graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. I came to this field first as a patient and have found naturopathic medicine to be incredibly expansive in terms of core knowledge and available treatment modalities. My passions lie in mental health, substance abuse and recovery, LGBTQIA+ health, endocrinology, cardiology, and Health At Every Size (HAES) care. Populations that I love working with include low income, formerly incarcerated, LGBTQ, and body and gender diverse. My goal is to make every patient feel seen, heard, and supported. Outside of giving my energy to the care of my patients, I am deeply fulfilled by teaching upcoming NDs. I pride myself on my resourcefulness, leadership, empathy, analytical mind, and upbeat and approachable personality.MEDICAL SKILL SUMMARY OF NOTE- 6 month residency focused on primary and acute care for patients age 3 and up- Primary and secondary internship rotations focusing on mental health, substance use, endocrinology, cardiology, physical medicine, gender affirming hormone therapy, and primary care at NUNM Lair Hill, Volunteers of America (VOA) Men's Residential Center, and VOA Outpatient Services- Preceptorships focusing on complex mental health care, gender affirming hormone therapy and transgender primary care, metabolic condition management, and IV therapy- POCUS training and teaching through POCUS class, Clinical Anatomy II class, and Diagnostic Imaging Club- Phlebotomy, IV and IM injections- ECG administration and interpretation- Hydrotherapy treatments with special interest in constitutional hydrotherapy and FIR sauna- Patient intake and charting through Epic, CareLogic, CharmPHR, and Athena- Swedish massage, myofascial release techniques
