Overall strategic leadership responsibility for devising, planning and delivering a cost effective strategy of PR and campaign activity, which included the management of the press office, social and digital media, website design and content management; and the development and delivery of a full integrated marketing strategy for the business. Developed and delivered Apprenticeship and employer campaigns. Primary responsibility for effectively leading, motivating and nurturing over 11 staff, with 3 senior managers directly reporting. Effective responsibility for the team’s day to day activities, objectives, training, learning, development and progression. Significant budget and cost management oversight. Responsible for all internal and external communications, on behalf of the NAS (including Parliamentary Questions and communications to customers and Stakeholders). Managed, developed and implemented the brand and crisis management strategy. Worked closely with the company’s sales and business development team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
