In my position as an associate at Comms Rebel, I offer strategic communications support to a diverse range of clients. Currently, I am assisting the internal communications department at Refugee Council with the following responsibilities:• Supervision of the Senior Internal Communications Officer. • Publishing relevant news articles for staff on the Refugee Council's intranet using Sharepoint.• Reviewing weekly all-staff and CEO newsletters on Mailchimp and other internal communications.• Providing strategic guidance on change communication initiatives, including organisational restructuring, rebranding efforts, and complex digital transformation projects.

• Leading on the implementation of Imperial’s institutional social media strategy.• Managing the day-to-day running of Imperial’s central social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Weibo, WeChat, and BiliBili. • Planning and managing College-wide social media campaigns for students, staff, alumni and external audiences. • Providing editorial direction and leadership for a team of contributors to central social media accounts. • Gathering and reporting on social media metrics to colleagues across the Division and College leadership, and using the data to inform social media strategies. • Working on reputational issues identified on social media, monitoring sentiment changes, providing expert advice on social media handling, and escalating potential problems to senior staff. • Advising on social media crisis communications, working closely with the Media team and handling social media management during times of emergency.
