King Content published Software Magazine, a digital publication for information technology professionals.Duties:- Coded and posted all articles that appear on the site.- Coded monthly e-mail newsletter.- Created, processed graphics and house ads.Accomplishments:- Helped develop site’s content-management tool.- Helped manage 2003 site redesign, migrating editorial content and ensuring consistency with design specifications.

ASBPE is a 700-member professional association founded in 1965. As web editor, my duties included:- Updating site, editing and writing copy.- Creating and processing graphics.- Writing blog posts.- Helping keep ASBPE up to date with new technology and social media.Accomplishments:- Helped establish, and continue to manage, the association's presence on Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare, and other social networking sites.- Established the first ASBPE blog, for the Boston chapter, in 2006. Other blogs, including a national blog have followed. The weblogs have greatly raised ASBPE's profile and helped the association make new connections in the industry.- Planned, managed 1997 site redesign—navigation, graphics, and content.- Oversaw initial site launch in 1996.

Built a new Facebook page and Facebook Cause page for Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International; helped form social media strategy; posted updates.

Served as web editor for two publications: - Modern Materials Handling, a 98,000-circulation, 100+ page monthly magazine whose readers manage materials and products in manufacturing and distribution facilities.- ADC News & Solutions, a monthly, 75,000-circulation supplement that covered automatic data capture. Merged with Modern Materials Handling in 2001.Duties:- Wrote monthly “Internet Update” column for print magazine. - With print staff, provided live, daily web updates on major trade shows.- Held primary responsibility for development, quality control, and maintenance of both magazines’ web sites. Accomplishments:- Helped develop award-winning “Bloopers” column, among the 10 most-visited pages on adcnews.com.- Oversaw three complete site redesigns.- Managed development of online product directory.- Participated in development of both sites prior to October 1996 launch
