Senior Technical And Vocational Trainer
CurrentAs a Technical Trainer, I take on the following responsibilities:• Planning and conducting activities for a balanced program of instruction and demonstration that provides students with opportunities to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes.• Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans following curriculum guidelines and institutional requirements• Preparing, administering and grading examinations and assignments to evaluate students’ progress• Maintaining accurate and complete student records as required by administrative regulations• Maintaining training facilities, instructing and monitoring students in the care and use of equipment and materials in order to prevent injury or damage• Observing and evaluating students’ behavior, social development and physical health while motivating, guiding and counselling students with adjustment and academic problems.• Collaborating with other teachers, professionals and administrators in the development, evaluation and revision of school programs with the aim of promoting learning• Performing administrative duties such as being the Teacher on Duty and organizing school activities and extracurricular activities• Attending staff meetings and serving on committees as required• Attending professional meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence
