I worked my way through the corporate maze and found myself in various management positions, many of which were newly created (Chief Information Officer, Internal Management Consultant-Audit Department, Director of Administration, and Director of Training.) I earned my MBA in Business Management through City University of Seattle while holding a full-time corporate position as Training Director for a Fortune 500 . Instructional Designer for Northwestern Mutual Company in Milwaukee. Collaborated with Field Sales Training Department in revising and updating Leadership Training documentation for Field Managing Directors. Developed, edited/revised, financial product kits for use by sales staff in field.

Created, developed and implemented training programs for all levels/functions in Operations unit for Burbank, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta locations. Established mentoring program, training plans, onboarding plan. Collaborated with Operations Directors to institute and implement standardized operational processes and training documentation. Developed and published Training Newsletter on Intranet and worked with outsourced providers in developing Training Intranet website.

Developed annual audit plans, managed audits and audit teams. Worked with CNA Surety leadership. Member of Division Leadership team. Selected as one of two audit directors to partner with Deloitte & Touche consulting in developing and delivering Facilitated Self Assessment Workshops across the country.

Promoted to position from Crum & Forster Home Office to initially assess IT systems and subsequently co-manage systems conversion project with IT staff. When company restructured, managed the transition of various operations functions.

Managed the computer technology team to ensure timely installation coordination of hardware across all corporate business offices. Created and managed installation process between outside vendors: telecommunications, software, hardware and corporate business customers.

Worked in Crum & Forster Ins. Co. for a total of 14 years in various management positions. Left for 7 years and returned in the ISD Department with progressive promotions until resignation as Regional Operations Manager in Chicago.
