Finite element engineering professional with 20 years experience, both in use and development of several FE codes. Since 2001 founder of MG technical solutions (MGts), an finite element (FEM/FEA) engineering consultancy firm.     I 've started an engineering consultancy focusing on the use of finite element simulations (FEM or FEA). We are active in different types of industry (a.o. aerospace, off-shore, defence, civil engineering, packaging). We are specialized in less common simulations like bird-strike analysis, explosion simulation, crash/impact analysis, production simulation, thermal analysis etc. Of course we also also help our clients with the more regular types of FE analysis. We try to share our experience by providing bespoke courses on finite elements. By cooperation with other parties we also present courses on subjects touching FEA, like fatigue analysis, composites, casting analysis etc.

    Contributed to MSC.Dytran an explicit finite element code intended for simulation of non-linear short duration porcesses, such as crash, impact explosions etc. Worked on the development of a forging simulation code (SuperForge) and initiated the development of a simulation program for the production (extrusion blow forming and stretch blow forming) and use of plastic bottles and other containers for fluids.
