Presently involved in the design and algorithm development of Inertial and Integrated Navigation Systems. Algorithms are developed from basic principles, and navigation sensors are hybridized using Optimal Estimators specifically Kalman Filters.Development of algorithms include the modelling of reference sensors and developing a simulation environment to develop and test performance of the algorithms.Spent 15 years as a Systems Engineer on the following projects:• Lead Systems Engineer for the development of a Health and Usage Monitoring System for the BAE Systems Hawk aircraft;• Systems Engineer for the integration of the AIM9L Sidewinder missile onto the Pakistan Air Force F7P (MIG21) aircraft;• Systems Engineer for the development of a Radio Management System for a Multi-Role Tanker Transport Airbus A330 aircraft;• Lead Systems Engineer for a Battlefield Instrumentation System developed for the Singapore Army.
