Marthinus is a seasoned campaigner in the ICT industry with more than 35 years’ experience. He has spent many years as part of the Executive Management of Business Connexion, as well as Datacentrix.He is currently the Manager of Professional Services at Intenda, a business applications and technology provider of choice. Intenda specializes in Sourcing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management solutions. Their solutions form part of a bigger transversal implementation to Government - National, Provincial and Local Government, as well as State Owned Enterprises.He was Group Executive at Business Connexion for Professional Services, a Business Unit with over 700 Consultants, which include the following Business Units:Application Services, Energy Project and Industrial Solutions, SAP, Systems Integration and Business Consulting.He Joined Business Connexion in 1986 (then known as Data Trust). Data Trust then merged with QPack to form Q Data and later merged with Persetel which is known today as BCX. He was responsible for the National Defence’s payroll system (PERSOL) at Infoplan before joining Data Trust where he was the Solution - and Technical Architect of the South African Government HR and Payroll System PERSAL, which is still running today. He studied Computer Science and Information Systems at UNISA. He became a Director at Q Data Consulting in 1990.
