Hi, I’m Martha!I was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You'll often hear me talking about my love of NM, describing spicy foods (who out there has tried green chile?), the sunshine, the four seasons (especially the snow), and the breath-taking blue desert mountains.From a very young age, I remember admiring interiors. I would regularly come up with new ideas for improvements and develop my own philosophies about space planning. I was hired in 2021 to design an upscale restaurant in NW Portland, OR named Alouette. My first major design project. This experience proved to be invaluable. I was given real-world experience and skills in project management and communication. This included working with architects, city permitting officials, and contractors. I designed the full restaurant - from the kitchen space to the patio. I can lead the beginning of the design process to the end. I will help my clients explore initial ideas by asking thoughtful questions and by offering creative ideas. I construct renovation plans and work with other experts to successfully execute my client's dreams.I develop designs that are tailored to your needs and preferences so your home is unique to you. Commercial spaces come with a different approach — efficiency and details are key. Timelines, budgets, and permits are all factors to consider, but with a carefully thought out design plan, build/renovation will be smooth sailing. In my free time, I also enjoy baking cakes, woodworking, lifting weights, wine tasting, and playing with my golden retriever, Murphy (good girl).
