FLEET DUTIES• Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicing information• Ensuring the personal safety and safe working environment of staff.• Negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency.• Providing accurate routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.• Managing a fleet of 94 vehicles and 82 staff ( drivers & Zone controllers)• Management and compile fleet reports• Cost Management and containment fleet maintenance and resources• Ensure that the warranties of vehicles are upheld• Identify fleet risk areas• Ensure service plans and maintenance of vehicles are done on time• Management of daily checklists• Route planning and fleet restructures• Ensuring vehicles are in good working order and are maintained• Manage and action driver reports from the public.• Ensure and manage SLA agreements, contract pricing with service providers• Manager resources and outsourcing of service rates• Fleet forecasting to ensure smooth operations• Assist with tenders and new business proposals by accurately calculating total supply chain costs in relation to proposed new projects.• Restructuring and implementations of maintenance processes, bulk cost savings, and license renewals• Ensure that required training, Performance Management and IR Regulations are adhered to.• Work in close relations with Operations, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service.• SENIOR SUPERVISOR DUTIES:• Monitoring of the collection and delivery performance, isolating of problem areas and solution implementation, to achieve of 100% on time collections and deliveries• Management of all operations staff, ensuring that staff are supervised, supported, trained and equipped to perform their tasks properly and professionally• Performance management and disciplinary• Route planning and optimization
