As a team lead at Philips Research I am managing a team of data/AI scientists working on data driven innovations for patients, health professionals and consumers to enhance engagement, diagnostics, therapy adherence, decision support and workflows.In various product owner and value stream owner roles I lead a cross-functional R&D team of scientists and engineers. In close alignment with business stakeholders, the agile innovation team is creating, building and evaluating AI assets to increase engagement and retention of consumers and patients with digital data driven Philips services, products and health coaching programs.

In various project leader and product owner positions at Philips Research I did lead multidisciplinary R&D teams on digital engagement for Philips businesses Personal Health and Connected Care, and on a range of smart sensor data driven solutions for sleep onset reduction, paced breathing, renal denervation, connected homes, human emotion detection and relaxation.

I was responsible for technology and innovation roadmap of the Labventure startup Lumalive, developing and productizing light emitting textiles for various dynamic experience applications.

At Philips Research, I held various project leader roles on electronic textiles and fabric LED displays, and on charged particle optics (miniature electron microscopes, electron beam arrays) for Philips Electron Optics and FEI Company (now Thermo Fisher Scientific).
