The City Makers Fund was founded in 2019 and contributes to lively and inclusive cities by investing in initiatives that add social value to urban environments. The fund calls these initiators 'city makers'. In addition to generating social impact, investees must also generate a reasonable economic return. (English below) Juttersgeluk is een sociale onderneming met upcycle atelier die mensen, die (tijdelijk) minder goed meekomen in de maatschappij, wil betrekken bij een schoner strand met verschillende activiteiten. Zo krijgen zij de kans een positieve bijdrage te leveren aan een duurzaam leefmilieu voor zichzelf en voor anderen in het kustgebied van Nederland. Meedoen, op welke wijze dan ook, is daarbij het belangrijkst. Plastic afval van het strand wordt verwerkt en krijgt een nieuw leven in een verrassende, creatieve producten met een verhaal.Juttersgeluk is a social enterprise and upcycle studio in Overveen, close to the Dutch coast near Amsterdam. Juttersgeluk offers (temporarily) disadvantaged people a unique opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable coastal environment for themselves and for others. Plastic waste found at the beaches is being processed and gets a new life as surprising, creative products with a story.
