Ultimate responsibility over all legal affairs of Curaeos’ group, one of the largest European Dental Platform, serving over 1 million patients in various dental industries ranging from dental clinics, dental tech labs and trading activities (€300+mln./4.000 FTE/7 countries in Europe and Asia). Strategic function with high impact. Within a 3 year period: i) set up world class standards legal function across the group addressing both legal tech systems blueprint and implementation thereof as well as implementing full corporate governance and compliance framework for a regulatory heavy medical care environment; ii) Reduced outside legal counsel spend per annum by over 80% by setting up and managing strict reporting and invoicing rules, having all external counsel report into me; iii) managed legal side of strategic procurement project resulting in €7mln. per annum spend reduction; iv) performed legal restructuring and simplification of total group, comprising over 100 mergers and the reduction of 140+ entities v) Successfully helped the group through a €800mln. fully consensual financial restructuring deal; and vi) Subsequent successful exit from PE owner EQT to Colosseum Dental Group, part of Jacobs AG. Budget owner for the 10mln. per annum Dutch lease spend for group companies. Owner of group insurance portfolio.
