Fysiotherapiepraktijk Rijnkade bestaat sinds 2001 en richt zich met name op de behandeling van sport gerelateerde klachten aan het houding en bewegingsapparaat, sportrevalidatie en orthopedische problematiek. Met nagenoeg alle zorgverzekeraars is een zorgcontract afgesloten en de praktijk is zonder verwijzing van de huisarts toegankelijk.Specialisatie: de praktijk heeft zich gespecialiseerd in het behandelen van schouder, knie, rug en enkelklachten en revalidatie na schouderoperaties (o.a. neerplastiek, labrumrepair etc), revalidatie na knieoperaties (o.a. menisectomie, voorstekruisband reconstructie, total knee operatie etc.) en revalidatie na hernia operatie. Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid voor een uitgebreide second opinion.

In de jaren daarna heb ik o.a. gewerkt als fysiotherapeut bij het SMC Papendal, (Sport)fysiotherapiepraktijk Nijkamp & Feith te Papendal, Politie Gld-Midden en (Sport) Fysiotherapiepraktijk Rijnkade. Tevens heb ik een aantal jaren de medische verzorging van het tweede elftal van de H.F.C. EDO (Haarlem) op mij genomen.In 2006 heb ik als eerste binnen Nederland de doctoraal opleiding Fysiotherapiewetenschap aan de Universiteit Utrecht succesvol afgerond. Hiermee heb ik officieel mijn doctorandus (drs.) en master of science (M.Sc.) titel behaald. Van 2005-2012 ben ik naast fysiotherapeut ook als hogeschool docent en coördinator werkzaam geweest bij de opleiding Master Sportfysiotherapie van de Academie Gezondheidszorg te Utrecht en ben ik mede-eigenaar van SPORTSIMPACT (Honselaar & Janssen Sportmedisch Expertise Bureau) dat diverse nationale en internationale betaald voetbalverenigingen adviseert in blessure screening en preventie (www.honselaar-janssen.nl). Sinds 2010 ben ik officieel praktijkeigenaar van Fysiotherapiepraktijk Rijnkade
