About Martijn Molegraaf

During my professional carreer I gained experience as Project manager, Consultant, Trainer and Developer. My strengths are designing and managing projects for intranet/internet portals/applications using SharePoint. A good translation of the customer's needs to business solutions is key to a successfull project.*Project managerAs a project manager I am responsible for the final result of multiple projects. For me it's important that the entire project team shares responsibility. That they work together and contribute to a result that satisfies both the customer and us. The projects are usually processed by a project team with 2 of more project members. Roles in this team are for instance configurators, developers, test coördinators and business consultants.My vision is to stay as close as possible to the standard SharePoint functionalities and to split the project into manageable sub-projects. I also think that it is important to start working with SharePoint at the most early stage, so the customer can acquire SharePoint experience before realizing further changes.Next to our project manager role, we also act as consultants. The ability to advize customers about the implementation of SharePoint into their organization is very important. Goals are better efficiency, single source of information and to have the right information available at the right time & place. The main goal of course is the end user; he/she should be able to use the portal/application with satisfaction.*Project MethodologiesDSDM, SCRUM, Prince II, Lean Six Sigma.
