About Martijn Morren

In 2023 gooide ik het roer om: ik koos voor het onderwijs. Na een intensieve oriëntatieperiode, met dank aan een fijn netwerk, de podcast Zin in Lesgeven en stichting Leraar van Buiten, heb ik bewust gekozen voor de nadruk op het vmbo. Praktisch onderwijs en heel diverse leerlingen zonder blad voor de mond.Geen kantoor, geen bureau, maar een beroepenplein en een klaslokaal. En dat bevalt me heel goed. Vooral door de leerlingen waar ik elke dag mee te maken heb. Het is fantastisch om voor hen iets te kunnen betekenen. Bovendien werken er ook nog eens hele fijne mensen in het onderwijs.Van leiding- naar lesgeven is best een stap, want alles is anders en docent zijn is echt een vak. Een vak dat ik voor een groot deel nog ga leren. En als je die stap met een Pippi Langkous mentaliteit meent, dan is elke dag een feestje.
