Furthermore, his research includes business human rights issues in a broader context. Active in academic research, his many publications include a book on the public/private divide. He has held many teaching appointments, he is a member of the editorial staff of professional journals and a committee member of lawyers’ associations. He is amongst others member of the steering committee of the MSI Integrity academic network and chairing a research project on effectiveness of Multi-stakeholder initiatives in the human rights arena and member of the OECD academic network on responsible business conduct.
