As Purchasing Manager I was responsible for the buying of accommodation on the destinations Karpathos, Kos, Lesvos, Rhodes and Samos in Greece. My core responsibilities were:- Scouting for new products (eg. Hotels, self catering units etc.) on the destinations based on product- and market analysis- Maintaining strong business relations with key-suppliers- Creating opportunities for synergies between the various source markets within the TUI GROUP- Advising the product departments on the development of their product portfolio's- Actual contract negotiations with suppliers
