I have been a doctor for 20 yeas and I am a General Practitioner with over 16 years’ experience. My main driver is NHS commissioning and as a CCG board member I am at the cutting edge of innovations in this field with input in to Camden's commissioning direction as well as its role in the NCL wide STP. I also lead in medical education and teaching the next generation of doctors how to be GP's. I have extensive experience in General Medicine both adult and paediatric. I provide both NHS and private medical / health services to residents of North and Central London.As a CCG Board member I was elected to the position by my GP peers in Camden. This post involves Planning and operationalization of Camden's CCG objectives. It also involves ensuring as a CCG board member that the CCG remains robust through good financial and corporate governance. My roles in CCG require me to work closely with other commissioners such as the local authority and Public health in addition to large providers such as the large Trusts UCH and RFH in Camden. My specific reposnabilites are listed in my profile. I am the clinical advisor to a team working with refugee children in Canary Warff. I have assisted in creating potential pathways of care for them.
