I am a skilled software engineer with a strong engineering background in web/software development.When I first started university to do a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, I told my friends I was going to build a computer program that would understand and speak my mother tongue. Although I didn't know it at the time, I was talking about programming an Artificial Intelligence (AI).I eventually realized that pursuing coursework in Telecommunications Engineering was the wrong path given the goal I had in mind, but it did serve as my introduction to the "C" programming language. I was blown away by how logical one had to be in order to solve problems using code. I love math, and that experience made me love code as well.I built my first AI while completing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science: a face recognition program that allowed users to log in to a database simply by looking into the webcam. Since then, I've fallen in love with all types of software development, and have built projects ranging from social media clones to basic CMSs. Writing code is one of the things I'm most passionate about; I love the feeling I get from finally solving complex problems that puzzled me for hours or even days on end.I am currently looking for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Software Development position.
