As a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Martin is known for driving brand growth, maximizing operational excellence, and delivering financial performance. He most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing and Commercial Director for Nordic Hotels & Resorts two flagship hotels in Oslo, Norway - The THIEF and Amerikalinjen. There he led the brand, sales, marketing and P.R operation and prior to that Martin led the sales efforts for two of America's most iconic hotels - Director of Sales for The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles California and Assistant Director of Sales for the Waldorf Astoria New York. He has also held Food & Beverage leadership roles at The Plaza, New York, The Lowell and Baur au Lac.He has always portrayed the highest level of initiative and good judgement while maintaining budgets and meeting and exceeding goals. Through his experiences, he has gained quality business, management and leadership experience and has a track record of coming up with unique, refreshing, and innovative ideas.Which is why it is only fitting that he now starts a new chapter in his career. As of June, 2023, he begins as Managing Director of yet another iconic, boutique hotel in Oslo, Norway - Saga Hotel & Apartments.
